Summer Mini Retreats
A time to connect, make friends and deeply relax in a supportive, safe and welcoming environment.

During the Summer months, I run mini retreat days in my beautiful garden in Whitchurch Hill RG8 7QL.

This immersive experience will last for 3 hours and is open to anyone on the cancer journey.
We have 15 spaces available for the upcoming mini retreat on Sunday 7th July 2024 @ 1 - 4pm.

During our time together, we will enjoy ceremonial cacao (Ceremonial cacao is packed with antioxidants and minerals such as magnesium, iron, and calcium), followed by a deeply relaxing extended sound bath ( 1.5 hour session) while feeling the warmth of the Summer air on your skin.

Once you have awakened from the sound meditation, we will then connect with each other over medicinal herbal teas (blends that I create using medicinal herbs from a beautiful Apothecary in Glastonbury) and a selection of fresh fruits, while enjoying the benefits of grounding.

Grounding refers to having your body in touch with the earth - In multiple studies, grounding has been documented to have profound beneficial effects on physiological and emotional stress. Grounding includes a normalizing influence on cortisol, a calming impact on the electrical activity of the brain, and a normalization of muscular tension. When earth connection is restored through grounding, electrons flood throughout the body, reducing inflammation and oxidative stress while also reinforcing the body's own defense mechanisms. Electron transfers are the basis of virtually all antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity.

These sessions are funded by Angela and no financial payment is requested from those who attend.
What I do ask for is a kind donation of something small to help with future free sessions, such as:
White pillar candles, Nag Champ Incense sticks, White Sage Smudge Spray, Eye pillows, Redbush / Rooibos tea, Manuka honey.

What to bring to the session: A yoga mat or something comfy to lay on. A pillow and a light blanket. A bottle of drinking water for you. An eye bag if you have one. Dress comfortably and appropriately for being outdoors.

Please note that sound therapy is not suitable for pregnancy, epilepsy, metal plates in the head, pacemakers or severe mental health illness. Please speak to your oncologist to ensure that sound therapy is suitable for you.
